Another attraction in the hillsides is the Cebu Taoist Temple completed in 1972. While there is no entrance fee, there is a physical price to pay in the 81 stairs that must be climbed in order to get up the front path to the temple. The stairs, along with the Cebu humidity must be considered before placing this onto your activities list. The temple is open to both worshipers and tourists alike, however there are some places where silence must be observed and where no picture taking is allowed – also there are plenty of guards on watch to enforce these rules.
